Our lovely client Sarah is an experienced horticulturist and has established a beautiful native garden for her home, Cloud Cottage.
Recently she shared with us this video of “Sarah’s Australian Garden Tour” part of a series focusing on the Highlands region. Here she provides practical advice on creating urban forests and the importance of creating wildlife-friendly spaces. We have enjoyed seeing this diverse landscape bloom.
This is a home for a garden, with two key spaces, a public front vegetated threshold and a rear retreat that the building wraps around, providing outlook. Life plays out between this private courtyard space and the front verandah greeting neighbours passing by.
